Kandi Killin and Mike DeSante took first place for both the dance competition and the fundraiser competition.
All thirteen couples worked very hard on their routine and costumes and did an outstanding job the night of the event. They all deserve a great cheer and they provided a huge win for services in our community.
Mental Health America of Boone County want to thank all of our sponsors and supporters and we are very proud to serve the caring people of Boone county.
We also want to thank the Lebanon high School and City of Lebanon for a wonderful venue, as well as the staff of Aramark who provided an excellent dinner with impeccable service.

Rumored to have brewed some of the first beers, who knew they would leave messages behind of being big fans of our next Dancing with the Stars couple.
Way to go Portia Edens! You correctly guessed our next Dancing with the Boone County Stars couple, John and Anne Hatton. The solution was the key (on a computer keyboard) to the left of each letter in the letter sequence. The answer spelled out "John and Anne Hatton". John and Anne have lived in Zionsville for 32 years. John is a semi-retired manufactures representative and Anne is a semi-retired church music director.
They have three sons who all have families and live in the Indianapolis area, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Anne is an active member of Melody Makers of Indiana, The Indianapolis Matinee Musicale, and The National Pastoral Musicians Chapter of Indianapolis. Anne and John serve as cantors St. Alphonsus Church in Zionsville.
When asked who their celebrity dance partners would be, John said he would like to dance with the Golf Channels, Holly Sonders. Anne would love to dance with Gene Kelly because he reminds her of her husband.
John and Anne decided to participate in Dancing with the Stars because they were asked by their friends, David and Melodie Lewis. They said, “We have a special and personal interest in supporting Mental Health America of Boone County.” Thank you, John and Anne, we are so glad that you do, and can't wait to watch you dance on the 4th!

Kassie Frazier guessed our next dancing couple, Dr. Robert and Jackie Taylor! She solved the clue “Elizabeth and Chuck are swift.” Elizabeth, Chuck and swift all have in common the name “Taylor” (Elizabeth Taylor, Chuck Taylor and Taylor Swift). Great job, Kassie.
Robert and Jackie Taylor have lived in Lebanon for the past 19 years where Robert is the Superintendent of Schools for Lebanon Community School Corporation and Jackie is a Guidance Counselor at Lebanon Middle School. Together they have two sons, Matthew and Cole Taylor. Something that many people may not know about the Taylor’s is that they lived in Europe for 15 years prior to moving to Lebanon. Dr. Taylor is involved with several organizations within Boone County including the Lebanon Kiwanis, the Boone County Economic Development Corporation, the Lebanon Redevelopment Commission and the Mayor’s Mentoring Committee. Robert and Jackie decided to participate in the Dancing with the Stars of Boone County fundraiser to support Mental Health America of Boone County. We are excited to have the Taylors competing for the trophy!
Andy Reeves decoded the number clue to come up with the name of our next couple! Lt. Brian and Kristi Stevenson!
Brian and Kristi have lived in Boone County their entire lives. Brian is the Lieutenant in the enforcement division at the Boone County Sherriff’s Department. Kristi is a Client Associate at Merrill Lynch for The Buck Group. They have three children, Taylor 18, Cooper 16, and Sydnie 10.
Brian has coached Lebanon Middle School Basketball, Little League Baseball, and is active on the Fourth of July Committee and Special Olympics. Kristi has danced most of her life. Her experience extends to being on the University of Southern Indiana Dance Team and choreographing dance routines for the LMS and LHS cheerleading squads. Brian does not have any dance experience but enjoys skydiving and rappelling. Kristi is looking forward to Dancing with the Stars because she says “it is not often that I am better than my husband at something. I will enjoy watching him with the challenge! And also, this is a wonderful event for a wonderful cause.”
